Deuteronomy 16, 17, and 18
This episode covers Deuteronomy 16, 17, and 18! In this episode, we are right in the middle of Moses’ 2nd sermon. And Moses has decided to pontificate on one of his favorite subjects-the 10 Commandments. He will look at those laws with the Promised Land in mind.

The Bible bender for me in Deuteronomy 16-18 was Susan’s discussion regarding “the prophet like Moses.” Susan explained, “Many have debated who the “prophet like Moses” might have been. But the Israelites began to believe that this was a prophecy of the Messiah, this is why they asked John the Baptist if he thought he was “The Prophet.” Luke eventually confirms that “The Prophet” whom Moses spoke about in Deuteronomy 18:15 is indeed the Messiah, Jesus Christ and they they are to listen to Him. This is confirmed in Acts 3:19-23.”
I love these ponderings that are worked out between the Old and New Testaments. God provided some answers along the way for his believers. I love that we can expect answers even today.
